What is classical swine fever?
Classical swine fever is a highly contagious viral disease registered by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) and is a disease with a major economic impact and a mortality rate approaching 100%.
Classical swine fever virus (CSFV) is the causative agent of this disease, which affects pigs but is not contagious to humans.
It is an RNA virus that belongs to the genus Pestivirus of the family Flaviviridae.
Product characteristics
HERBAVAC™ CSF Green Marker is a fusion protein that combines the E2 antigen and CBD (cellulose-binding domain). It does not contain Erns antigen, which is present in field strains and live attenuated vaccines. Therefore, the HERBAVAC™ CSF Green Marker can easily distinguish between field strain and vaccine strain.
- Product units (ml/bottle): 5 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml
- Direction: Avoid direct sunlight and shake well before injection. Inject 1ml/piglet intramuscularly at the age of 40 days and revaccinate 1ml at the age of 60 days.
